More Toys for Isaac

Grandpa Mel and Grams gave Isaac a GREAT gift this year...

Cede even loved playing with the bag...

Isaac... not so much...

However, they both LOVED the toys...

He was so cute trying to open it by himself...

Cede gave a helpful hand...

What boy would not LOVE a few construction trucks? He got right to work taking Ernie for a ride...

Fabulous Presents

Isaac got some GREAT gifts... one of mama's favorites came from Grandpa Marty...

It's the toy version of Grandpa's actual car... The one Isaac and Mama came home from the hospital in... we call it "the Woody"...

Family, Toys, Birthday Cake, Food

We had Birthday Cake for Jesus' Birthday - Isaac had a GREAT time blowing out the candles before Grandma was done...

We ate food... more food and even more food... Notice that Isaac is eating popcorn on Uncle Jim's couch... Uncle Jim and Mama are a titch OCD, but Isaac did great and did not even spill! I was so proud!

We hung out in our PJ's ...

We played with toys... while the kids took a nap the adults played a game... we laughed...
It was a great day...

Snow Day!

We were blessed with a White Christmas this year and we spent some time in Papa and Nana's backyard to play in the snow...

Daddy, Papa and Isaac made snow angles...

It was a fun day!

Everyone loved it...

Until it got a little too cold, a little too wet and someone was a little too tired...
Can you guess who was the tired one?

Fun Family Memories

When I was growing up, holidays were a BIG deal. Every holiday, but Christmas was the biggest one of all! All the cousins got together and it was CRAZY! (There are 10 of us)

Well, this year, Isaac got together with his cousin and had a BLAST! Check out her mama's blog here.

I had just as much fun, watching Mercedes play with EVERYTHING! Notice she is feeding Isaac's bear with a candle...

She wore the cutest little dress I had ever seen...

And LOVED the tree.

Man, I love this kid, I did not know I could love being an Auntie so much!

Moments to Treasure

Isaac played with the train set at Grandpa and Grandma's house FOREVER!

He just played and played and played ...

Grandpa even got in on the fun too...

Did I mention I think my kid is super SMART? I came into the living room after hearing him make train sounds and found that he had built this track ALL BY HIMSELF. I am so proud.

Man, I love this kid...

Too heavy...

Some times things are too heavy for us to carry on our own...
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:30

My week...

Apparently, they had a hard week too... Jesus bring rest!

Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men...

Dirty Laundry

I have been feeling bad for Tiger Woods lately, mostly because there is no way to really know what happend, and yet, his dirty laundry is everywhere, true or false, it is everywhere...

If I could choose how to "air my dirty laundry" ...

I would prefer to do it in a nice, neat, organized and well folded kind of a way.

But that is just because I am a little OCD...

I want to pull my hair out...

Sometimes, the simple things in life...

the complicated things in life...
the everyday things of life...

the nice people, mean people, long days at work, paperwork issues in life...

make me want to pull my hair out...
Pictures: The beautiful one in the pictures is little Mercedes - you can check out her mama's blog here.

100th Post

This is my 100th post which just happens to fall on the morning after a very long day at work, which left me distracted and frustrated. Following my very long, emotional and frustrating day, I came home and was blessed with this...

It might not look like much to you... but to me, it is my heart, my passion, my life long calling... it is evidence of the very first Board Meeting of Girls Only Ministry. I am currently in the process of developing the blog into a website, so when that gets done, I will let you know... but for now... just review how fabulous the pictures are, because they sure are precious to me and I praise Jesus for all He did in getting this Ministry to this point. Man I LOVE HIM!

We were... They are...

We were born 14 months apart. Mandy in October '79 and I in January '81...

Isaac was born in October '07...

And Mercedes in November '08...
They play together so well.
I am excited to watch them grow up together, go through school together and experience life along side each other.

A must for every kid...

I don't bake often enough. I don't bake cookies ever and so this was a first for Isaac...

Every kid must know what it is like to lick the beaters from the mixer.

He was not sure of it at first...

And then, like any kid, he couldn't get enough...
