Jesus was faithful - Praise and Glory Be!

On Friday June 25, 2009 my man got on a plane. I know for some people out there this is not a big deal, but for the Vigil family this is HUGE. It means several things but for me, it symbolizes the freedom that is on the horizon, just as my Sweet Jesus had promised me. I, along with my man, his sister, mother and step dad took a weekend trip to Vegas. It might surprise you, but I was Praising Him the entire was there, the entire trip and the entire way home. He came right along with us to sin city - and we had a great time.

Here are a few pictures, I have more to share, all in good time.

Proof that Jesus is faithful all the time. Andrew and his sister on the plane on the way out to Vegas. I praise you sweet Jesus, I praise you.

We stayed off the strip at a fabulous little place that had a lazy river. The first morning my man and I got up, got pool ready, took our iPods and books and headed to the lazy river. I tucked my iPod "into" my swim suite and praised Sweet Jesus for an hour while I rode around in the water. It was practically perfect.

We ate some great food! Andrew and Esther laughed the entire trip - Praises Be!

We enjoyed some "beverages" and anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love the margaritas!
New York New York has a tender place in my heart. My man and I stayed there with our dear friends when we drove out to Vegas for the very first time in the first two years of our marriage. It was nice to have those tender memories to reflect on.
We did not win much money, until the airport - Andrew played one last video poker machine and won some money baby! It was a fabulous way to end the trip.

Baby - I love you. I am proud of what you have accomplished and am honored to have been the one you wanted to share your life with. The good and the bad. I love you. I am proud to be your wife and am so excited for what Jesus has planned for us.
Sweet Jesus, thank you. Thank you for a breath of peace. Thank you for a get away. Thank you for coming along side us to sin city and rejoicing as we enjoyed this vacation. I love you. I trust you and I am excited for the plans you have set before us, whatever they might be. I am excited. May my life and love for you bring glory and praise to honor you!
